Painted Growler

New technique for me, looks easier but it took me much longer to paint this growler than paint everything I painted before

Celtic Knot Beer Glass

After long time I finally got back to glass painting and stated to paint Celtic set. I don't know how many glasses will be in this set, two or four, at this time, but I really love drawing celtic knots. They are amazing.
So this is first glass and it is probably the simplest. It was my first celtic knotwork. I plan much more complex picture on next one (yes, I already started to draw it).

I missed glass painting so much that I painted it just in couple days, which is extremely fast for me. I don't have much time for my art activities so usually it takes weeks.
Also there is always the problem for me to take pictures of my projects.

Hope next glass will be out really soon!

Hand-Painted Coffee Coffee Cup

I started to paint this cup so long time ago that I cannot even remember when. But recently I found it and decided to finish.
What can look more in place on the coffee cup than coffee beans? So I drew mixed size beans on it and decorated the top of drawing with real coffee beans.
Warm brown colors to add more "coffee spirit", you can almost smell it :)

I have finished painting of this new martini glass at least two weeks ago. The name of this glass is Bluebird of Happiness. This is second (and last) one of "Magic Birds" set (firs one is here).

Martini Hand Painted Glass - Firebird

I have finished working on this glass probably a month ago, maybe even more. I had only one problem - completely no time to take pictures and post it. Working till late night, bad weather or simply weak memory.
I planned to take glass with me to weekend trips and make really nice pictures in the mountains, on the river, next to the beautiful mansion... but each time when we arrive I realized that this happened again - I forgot the glass at home.
Finally I gave up and just make pictures in closest park during rollerblading.
This glass is special. There is first time when I have painted a leaving creature on glass. This is magic Firebird from Eastern European fairy tales.

The second thing that make this glass special - I have not painted whole surface of glass. I just only draw and painted bird on it. I am not sure that I use such approach painting other glasses.

Pears and Apples

This is last glass from Autumn set: apples and peaches (and some unknown berries :) )
I have finished painting this glass months ago but still haven't start new one. I have lot of ideas and no time at all. Probably I should spent some time and learn how to sleep 2 hours per day. The problem is I have no time to do that too:)
Also I am trying to redesign my blog and make it more readable and consistent so don't be supprised if you see some unexpected things - they all are temporary and experimental.

Rest of glasses from this set:

Underwater World Hand Painted Glass

This new glass was not created only by me. My friend started to work on it  for her son and drew octopus, fish and seaweeds. The problem was in her outliner. She had a bad one so she didn't like her art work and gave it to me.
I left almost all underwater creatures she has drawn except couple that was covered with thick rubber-looking outliner. Those were deleted using hot oven and sharp knife.
After removing those parts I drew Nemo, jellyfish and octopus on the glass base and started painting.
Something was wrong with this glass, I have never had so many problems with painting anything. Paints, outliner and my hand just did not want to be with this glass.
I was painting and removing what I had painted, I almost broke this glass itself twice... This was tough but I did it. Finally it was ready and was presented as a gift to my friend and her kids. I hope they like it.
The pictures have a bad quality because my camera stopped working recently, so all pictures were made using my cell phone.

Grapes. Wine. Glass

I have finished painting glass #2 from the new set. Here is the first one, if you missed it. I decided that this set will have name "Harvest time" and  I'll paint leaves, grapes, pumpkins and something else:) Probably apples but I am still thinking about it.
What is more natural than having wine glass painted with grapes? :-)
This glass is a kind of experimental. I have tried different brushes, new paintings, new outliner. Some of these experiments were not 100% successful. So there are small defects. Probably if you don't know where they are you wont't even notice them. But I know. I see them and it makes me a little bit upset.
